It also needed space to show projects and client feedback that could grow over time. And it wanted to give existing clients an organised experience while their projects are under way.

We began by understanding the company's message and audience, and agreed that merging old-world craftsmanship with modern technology should run through the whole site. We built a simple structure that leads visitors from the company and its principal, through services, to the portfolio, client feedback and finally contact. The design is clean, giving imagery and white space a leading role to suit high-end projects. Service pages explain custom building, remodelling, custom woodwork and energy-efficient systems in plain language. The portfolio and reviews pages use templates that are easy to update as each new project is completed. We added a client portal login and clear contact details that can be reached with a single tap on mobile. Before launch we tuned the site to load quickly on every device, with page titles, descriptions and structured data to support search visibility.
